Annie, Auggie, and Calder are all in China together. They have to follow Henry’s money but they know they’re essentially on their own. They are on an unsanctioned mission in one of the monitored countries in the world. If they get caught there won’t be any negotiations. The US will cut ties with them in order not to cause an international incident.

They were supposed to be following the man making the drop off. However they soon both lost and found him. Unfortunately they found him the second time dead. Someone had taken the money and literally burned any bridges to the end destination. However Annie quickly thinks on her feet and goes to the cops as a “witness”. Calder is upset she didn’t check in with the guys before making a decision on her own but Auggie proves to be right when he told Calder Annie tends to get the info when necessary. Using the police for their surveillance she does make out the killer but he turned out to be a part of the Chinese secret government.

Henry is working with Chinese spies. Joan helped them identify the guy using their system at Langley. Sure, it’s good they have a lead but on the downside the police will never allow Annie to leave once she implicated an agent in a murder. She has to find a way to get out of that precinct.

She couldn’t shoot her way out or suddenly learned to fly. So she brought her freedom by making a deal with Henry’s man to double cross Henry. He helps them bring Henry back to the states and he gets to keep all of Henry’s money.

Back home, Arthur’s trial may finally be looking up. His lawyer has worked out a plea deal. Bianca made a deal that will give him the opportunity of actually being around to raise his son. Arthur was thinking it over when something Bianca said made him do a double take. It was while she was listing all the evidence the government had against him. She mentioned how he had sent Auggie to Columbia. Although that is damning proof, the prosecution doesn’t have it and neither should Bianca. Arthur never told her and Annie only found out when Henry told her. Bianca must have gotten it from Henry. She was secretly working against Arthur and Joan the whole time.

Calder doesn’t like the idea of giving the double agent Henry’s money. Annie had to convince it had to be done in order to capture Henry. Leaving Calder on babysitting duty, Annie decided to put aside the espionage business. She just wanted to see China with Auggie. They had lost so much going after Henry. They needed a moment to themselves.

Henry got a call from Langley. He knows Auggie and Calder are in China. He meets with his turncoat of an employee with full knowledge it was a trap. It’s why he planned a trap of his own. He wanted to capture the guys but failed when public gunshots drew the crowd’s attention.

Calder and Auggie want to leave the country. They got a witness to go against Henry. That’s all they need to clear Arthur and return home but Annie wants to capture Henry. She feels like he’ll go unpunished if he’s allowed to underground.

Henry chose to destroy all loose ends. He sent people in to kill Bianca, Arthur, and Joan. His men killed Bianca but Joan was ok. Arthur got stabbed yet his prognosis looks well.

Joan called Annie to see if they were ok as well. They were during the phone conversation but Calder noticed a car following them after Annie had hung up. They were following their operative’s phone. They had completely forgotten about the phone. Annie is going to take it to mislead Henry’s men. That way Calder and Auggie can make it to the plane.

The plan was for Annie to meet up with them but Annie changed her mind. She’s going to bring Henry in and Auggie didn’t go on the plane. He’s going to stay and fight with Annie.  Annie revealed herself to Henry.

THE END!
