Well this is kind of unusual. It seems like whenever we hear of a soap star being arrested for some kind of bad behavior it’s usually a guy. The latest story coming out of West Hollywood instead involves Crystal Hunt, a younger actress who is best known for her role as Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding Light. Apparently Hunt got into a bar room fight at Pearl’s Liquor Bar and was arrested for throwing a pint in another woman’s face. According to TMZ the woman required some sort of medical attention on the scene.
Hunt was booked on a felony assault with a deadly weapon charge Friday night. She was released from an LA jail after making bail on Saturday morning. While the actress hasn’t been seen on camera in a year or so her work on GL was strong enough to warrant an Emmy nod in 2005. She also spent a year on One Life to Live before fading from the spotlight a bit.
Info is still leaking out about this incident. I’m going to go out on a limb and bet that somehow there is a guy at the center of this mess. Fighting over a guy is one of the things that will motivate a bar room smack down and Hunt had to be pretty motivated to decide to hurl a pint at another chick’s face, right?
