Danny Devito and Rhea Perlman had a little blip in their relationship last year when they announced that they were indeed separating. However, after some thinking, some epiphanies, and extra pushes from family and friends, the two decided that they were meant to be together and chose to reconnect. Now, according to Closer Weekly, the couple has fallen in love all over again and their romance, thanks to some good ol’ fashion courting, is steamier than ever.
“He took her for granted for far too long, but now those days are over,” a family friend reveals to the mag. “They are better than ever.” Of course, Danny had some help from months of wooing (poetry included) and a super romantic trip to NYC: “He had champagne sent up to the room and breakfast in bed. They are true soul mates.”
Their kids also played a major hand in getting the couple back together. When asked what they had planned for the holidays, Rhea told the magazine that she and Danny will be headed to the Galapagos Island, a place she’s always wanted to visit.
