Since conquering rehab, and being wittier than Britney Spears on the X Factor judging panel, Demi Lovato is unapologetic and extremely candid. Now that the original Demi (Moore) is still heartbroken over her divorce from Ashton Kutcher, and anguishing over her age, we need a new titillating brunette named Demi to clobber the Hollywood stage. Lovato acknowledged having suffered from bulimia, self-injury, and self-medicating with drugs and alcohol. She even confessed to having a nervous breakdown and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder during treatment. If the new Demi is this open with her own personal life, you can understand why she has no problem blaring her opinion on others.
First Demi Lovato threw a subliminal punch at the Kardashian family. “When people say, ‘I want to be famous – I want to be a star,’ you have to ask: ‘What are your intentions? If you just want to be famous, make a sex tape,’” She added, “So what I’d say is, if you’re doing it because you want to be a respected actress or musician, follow your dream. If you just want paparazzi following you, rethink what’s going on in your little head. It’s crazy how people confuse the two nowadays.” Well let’s face it, Kim Kardashian didn’t propel her family to Hollywood’s ceiling by using her brain, but by giving brain. Now Justin Bieber gets to feel the wrath of the under exposed Latino child star.
At Wednesday’s X-Factor auditions on the campus of USC, Demi smelled the fishy attitude of one eager contestant. When it was Demi’s turn to give her critique, she said that the industry already has too many artists with bad attitudes and then commented, “We don’t need another little punk running the streets.” When another young hopeful auditioned with Bieber’s own song, “As Long As You Love Me.” The audience loved his performance and so did the judges, but during her critique, Demi remarked, “Well finally someone can sing the song the way it was meant to be sung.”
Seems like all the shine is being hogged by Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian, so these digs are justified. Is Demi just over Justin’s talentless first class opportunities, and Grammy nominated wild ways? Did she lose the eBay bid on Bieber’s piss bucket? Or, does she wish to be in Selena Gomez’s sunshades?
