Alejandro wants to break up with Scott. It seems Scott has some fixtures being done at his house so he’s temporarily moved into the Big house with Alejandro. Carmen at first was worried about the extra work that is until Scott suddenly made himself useful by doing all of Carmen’s cleaning.

She loves that he’s helping out and would want him to stay forever but Alejandro confided to her that he wants to break up. If he does she’s going to have start cleaning again. She tries to convince to Alejandro that he’s letting go of true love only to find the responsibility of breaking up with Scott is now on her.

In the meantime, Rosie is also has her hands filled with her boss’s problems. Peri has gotten herself into trouble. She was out driving one night when she accidentally hit a man and instead of staying to help she fled the scene.

Once she got home she was so consumed with guilt that she confessed what she did to Rosie. However Rosie isn’t as sympathetic to her as she would have thought. Rosie goes back to the scene of the crime and calls in help for Frank. When she returns home she’s filled with a new take on life. She tells Peri what she did was despicable and now that she knows Peri is such a horrible person she no longer wants to protect her anymore.

Peri doesn’t know what they means but it means Rosie wants Spencer back. She no longer wants to borrow him either. She wants him to leave his wife. While Peri trying to get back into Rosie’s good books decides to go to Mexico and get Rosie’s son. Awkward!

Zoila is trying to be there for Genevieve but she finds increasingly difficult what with Genevieve’s ex practically moving back in. Zoila is furious. She knows Jean will only hurt her friend and boss. She makes it known to him that she just doesn’t like him.

To try and fight that rekindling romance, Zoila set up a undercover “sting” with a attractive young woman. Jean did fall for it. He gave another woman his card under Genevieve very own roof. Later when Zoila is called in to hear the family news she can’t help get angry. Genevieve and Jean are getting remarried. Zoila tells her friend about the sting but it doesn’t matter.

Luckily Remi is there as well. Earlier Marisol and her son’s lawyer had set a trap for him as well. He found out that he was the father of Flora’s baby although he didn’t know she was pregnant until after the fact. Michael tries to get him not to talk without revealing anything but that’s not who Remi is. He goes to the lawyer office and watches the tape of Flora trying blackmail someone. He knows who it is and yet he doesn’t say.

Fast forward to his parent’s “happy new” he punches his dad and whispers something in his ear. His dad could have been Flora’s rapist. The fact he doesn’t shout out the truth to his mom is worrisome. It means he’ll try to protect what his dad did no matter that it was several crimes.

Marisol feel so close to freeing her son that she’s gotten careless. She wasn’t at the house when she should have been and Taylor caught her eavesdropping on Michael’s conversation. Taylor tells Michael what she saw and he tells her it’s time to keep an eye out on Marisol. She is “too” smart to be merely a maid.

Carmen did break up with Scott. Surprisingly he’s not all that mild mannered as he appeared to be. He wrecks Alejandro’s place and storms out. Alejandra can’t call the police because he doesn’t want anyone to know he’s gay and so Carmen helps him clean up. What they don’t know is that Scott really is vindictive. He goes to the press with photo evidence of him and Alejandro. He wants revenge and now he has it.
