Back when The Suite Life of Zack and Cody was on the air Dylan Sprouse, along with his twin brother Cole apeared to be yet typical Disney kids. Dylan was considered a triple threat and the tweens loved him. Since leaving the network he has made some interesting choices that have proved he’s not like the rest of the pack. Instead of moving onto his next big gig Dylan has been going to school and waits tables in NYC just to get out of the house.
It was almost surprising yesterday when two naked pics of Dylan popped up on Tumblr, simply because that is almost a typical Disney rite of passage for Disney stars. Instead of trying to deny it though, he instead told his Twitter fans that he’d be foolish to deny that it’s him and instead he’ll learn from it. Dylan then was a good sport about all of the jokes that ensued.
Joe Jonas recently penned an essay about how Disney ruins young stars by all but killing their creativity and forcing them to be what they believe will sell. Dylan recently slammed this issue in US Weekly saying that at any point in time all of the kids working for Disney can say no or challenge the brass. They just choose not to because they’re afraid that if they don’t do as their told then they’ll be out of a job. Dylan says that he and Cole often said no and refused to be packaged as something that compromised who they really were. I have to admit, I kind of like this guy, don’t you?
