On tonight’s episode 9 of Dancing With The Stars the couples competed in two rounds of dance. For her first round Elizabeth Berkley danced a Viennese Waltz for a dance style she had not previously performed. The couples will compete in two rounds of dance. In the first round, each couple will take on an individual dance in a style they have not previously performed including the Viennese Waltz, Tango, Charleston, Argentine Tango and Quickstep. In the second round, the couples take on a new challenge and dance with an eliminated pro or troupe member as part of dynamic trio. The trio dance routine will be in a style the celebrity has not yet performed including the Samba, Jive, Salsa, Paso Doble and Jazz. At the end of the night, one couple will face elimination.
On last week’s show Elizabeth was given a perfect score a 25/30 for her Jive routine. Carrie Ann: “You were under pressure, but you were one dimensional in your anger, you needed a little breath and that made it too loose for me.” If you missed any of last week’s performances, you can check out all the videos, right HERE.
Elizabeth Berkley and professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy: danced a Viennese Waltz. Elizabeth tweeted about her dances this week, “Just got home from a great rehearsal w/@iamValC and @Gleb_Savchenko. Thank u, amazing gentleman;-) #sexysalsa.”
Judges Comments: Carrie Ann “I loved that you listened to us last week, it had dynamic quality and I love your lines. There was just a slight out of sync, overall great.” Len “You are my top dancer on the leader board, I am a fan but this wasn’t my cup of tea. I love your dancing, it was good but not great.” Bruno “This week you hit it, you did it in a different way, it came from within and I love the way you put the contemporary touches in it. Well done.”
