Gillian Anderson Attends Cirque Du Soleil's Kooza With Katherine Jenkins - Where Was David Duchovny?

The truth is out there – and Celeb Dirty Laundry is about to find it. Mulder and Scully should get over themselves. Oh, wait… They’re going to make their own X-Files very soon. Yes. Yes, they are. Now, before you go all X-Files-fan boy on us, this is not an article about conspiracy theories, wicker men, The Smoking Man, aliens, abductions, alien abductions, moon landings, and/or Tom Cruise – this is about Cirque du Soleil.

Gillian Anderson, our childhood hero, recently joined Katherine Jenkins – the opera singer that pops glasses with Seal songs – at Cirque du Soleil’s Kooza. The show opened on the 8th of January, 2013, at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England – so it was fancy schmancy and more pretentious than an art critic at a Banksy sighting. The now 44-year-old Anderson “wore all-black for the occasion” and “topped her black dress and boots with a black coat.” That’s hot, even for Scully’s drab FBI (or was it CIA?) standards. She also wore a “gold bead bib necklace [that] drew the eye and brightened up her whole look.

We have to ask – we’re going to ask – where was Mulder? Where was David Duchovny? Was he chasing women (Californication) being abducted by aliens that look like Judi Dench? Okay, yes, we know we’re pretentious and super droll, but seriously, where was he? Obviously he would have also wanted to see crazy people jumping on ropes and doing circus-y stuff? Why you no invite him, Anderson?

Kooza’s opening night also had Twiggy, Holly Valance, and Sir Ben Kingsley in attendance. Still, no Duchovny. At least Anderson looked hot and Jenkins looked even hotter. It’s tough being the UK’s elite – so whenever the pond is crossed and a US-based personality joins the fray, the broken antennas of a thousand entertainment blogs light up like the rings on a UFO.

What would Mulder do?
