Jennifer Aniston Plans Traditional Wedding: Wants Greek Orthodox Marriage

The internet is buzzing with wedding rumors for Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux. The two haven’t been engaged a year, but we’ve pegged them on the fast track to wed! Unfortunately, petty fights and pregnancy drama seems to be interrupting plans for their dream wedding, which many insiders believe will be a small event in an exotic location. But not all Jennifer insiders are picturing a “cliff, in Barbados, at sunset, [as] Stevie Wonder [sings] “Isn’t She Lovely” as [Jen] walk[s] down the aisle.” (Friends, anyone? No?) Many of Jen’s relatives are still living in Eddystone, Pennsylvania, and are hoping the actress will return to her hometown for her A-list wedding.

According to National Enquirer, print edition January 28, 2013, “Friends and family members would love it if Jen ties the knot with fiancé Justin Theroux at the local church.” Jen’s family is very tied to Saint George Greek Orthodox Church, and Jen donated a whopping $25,000 for “a new classroom in memory of her grandmother.” Despite her glamorous, jet setting life, she still seems to cherish her hometown! So sweet!

Of course, for a hometown wedding to take place, Jen has to remind Justin why he fell in love with her! Recent reports claim the two were at each others throats during a Christmas vacation in Mexico. And Justin is starting to have doubts about their relationship—he thinks she is too superficial, and may be eyeing a quick break up and move back to NYC to be with his intellectual friends! Ouch! And while a hometown wedding may sound sweet and nostalgic, I’d bet there are a lot of skeletons buried there that Jen isn’t eager to dig up! Think Reese Witherspoon in Sweet Home Alabama. Do you think Jen will blow off her family for a destination wedding, or will she try to shy out of the spotlight and reconnect with her Greek heritage?
