Justin Bieber still needs to grow up some more! He was apparently not cool with his mom Pattie Mallette using his cute face on the cover of her upcoming book to boost sales. Her tell-all book, “Nowhere But Up: The Story of Justin Bieber’s Mom,” hit book shelves in September 2012. She’s not to blame, she didn’t come up with the idea. The Publisher reportedly talked her into it, and she agreed without running it by Justin. No biggie. She’s allowed to make decisions for him. “When Justin’s mom initially signed her book deal it included an agreement that Justin would appear on the cover with her, but she signed this deal without his consent,” a source told Radar Online. But when she finally came clean and told him about it, he blew up on her. It got so bad that his manager Scooter Braun had to step in. There was a lot of screaming involved and it all went down in his dressing room. Thank goodness it wasn’t in an aisle at the supermarket! How embarrassing would that be?!
The Biebs was fed up with his entourage exploiting him for gain. Really Justin?! She’s your mother, you know, the woman who brought you into this world! Without her, you wouldn’t even have a life! It looks like you owe her quite a bit. Much more than you owe Usher!
Justin eventually got over himself and made peace with his mom. “He finally broke down closer to the release of the book and agreed to do a press junket with her for the big outlets to promote it, but the whole thing was so awkward and uncomfortable,” a source recalled. In the end, it looks like the publisher had a change of heart anyway, the book was released without Justin’s face on the cover. His mother graced the cover instead. But too late, Justin showed his true colors! No respect for his momma!
