Kate Gosselin‘s over plasticized face covers the latest issue of In Touch Weekly, in which her supposedly ‘sad new life’ has her desperate for cash and ‘leaning on a married man’. You know, if this is true, it might explain why she’s been so hesitant to famewhore her romantic life for more attention.
The article in In Touch concentrates on Kate’s excessive use of expensive plastic surgery, and how that’s caused her to drain her life savings from her reality show. When Jon and Kate Plus Eight first ended, I’m sure Kate had no idea that several years from then, she would pretty much be broke, embroiled in a bitter lawsuit with her ex-husband, and desperate for any job. With the epic failure of recent cookbook, she’s pretty much sealed her own fate by proving to executives that she doesn’t have a solid fan base. So what choices does she have now?
Well, if the article is accurate, then her choice has been to turn to a married man for help. In all honesty, if that’s actually true, I don’t know why she’s bothering to hide it. It’s not like her reputation can get any more in the dumps, especially after the way Jon Gosselin‘s been spouting on about her horrible parenting skills in interviews.
Besides, I’m sure that Kate actually felt that spending all that money on plastic surgery would be well deserved. She probably envisioned an idyllic life with her new face and new body, married to some wealthy billionaire and living in a mansion with her children in yet another reality show. Instead, she spent most of her life savings preparing for a future that would never come true. It’s too late to turn back now, but it’ll be interesting to see the methods of famewhoring that Kate will now attempt to pull herself out of this slump.
