Kate Middleton and Prince William have decided it was time to take a break and get away from the fast-paced royal lifestyle by jetting off to a fancy spot in the Caribbean. After suffering a few bouts with morning sickness and having some less-than-desirable situations involving her pregnancy, Kate Middleton probably thought it was time for a few seconds away from it all. And we think she probably deserves it. We’re glad Prince William has the luxury to carve out a few moments from his schedule as well. Kate’s undoubtedly ecstatic that her hubby was able to get away on the holiday.
The royal couple is staying at a royally priced villa in Mustique. The Middletons also joined the royal couple as well for the spontaneous winter break. Prince William was worried that Kate wouldn’t be able to make the flight and that they’d have to cancel plans due to her severe morning sickness, but it appears that all turned out perfectly fine.
According to The Sun, “Both William and Kate were hoping her condition would not stop her from making the eight-hour flight to Barbados and the connection to Mustique. A month ago such a journey would have been unthinkable for her, so this is a clear sign she has made a virtual recovery.”
Turns out that Mustique is a fave getaway spot for the royal couple, as they’ve been spotted vacationing there eight time. The island isn’t just their fave spot either. Turns out the attraction to the exotic locale runs in the family. Prince Will’s great aunt Margaret made the island her go to spot for relaxation and escape.
