Queen Elizabeth is a boss. I love how she has absolutely no time or energy for journalists of any kind, and if someone asks her a question, she will answer with the TRUTH. There’s no skirting the issue or playing nice when you’re the Queen. You can say whatever you want, and it doesn’t matter.
When asked about when she thinks Kate Middleton’s baby will come, the Queen was quick with her answer and stated, “I would very much like it to arrive soon. I’m going on holiday.” If anyone else [like, Camilla Parker-Bowles] had said that, they would have been criticized forever. But it’s the Queen, and she can say she’s sick of waiting for the baby and she wishes it would hurry up already. I mean, she’s got a vacation at Balmoral waiting for her in a few weeks. She doesn’t want to sit around waiting.
The Queen is also asked about whether she wants the baby to be a boy or a girl, and she simply replies, “I don’t think I mind [either way].” Well, it doesn’t matter so much now that the rules have changed, does it? Whether it’s a boy or a girl, they will be third in line to the throne, behind Prince Charles and Prince William.
