Sarah, you didn’t respond to the fact I stated: that the People magazine article about the Middletons in Mustique was dated January 20, 2012; LAST year.

The phrases ‘waity katy’ and ‘the limpet’ were both originally coined on royal forums, NOT by the press. A DM reporter saw the phrase ‘waity katy’ on a so-called royal ‘sugar’ forum in 2008 and used it in a DM article, which started media use of that phrase. The media doesn’t use ‘the limpet’; only people on certain royal forums use it. Both phrases are negative/derogatory, not neutral. I used the word ‘weird’ because the article was weirdly similar to comments posted on some royal forums. As for Kate having never worked in her life: again, please research.

Kate graduated from uni in June 2005. She tried to start a children’s clothing line with Viyella, which fell through in July 2006. She worked for Jigsaw as an Accessories Buyer for the Jigsaw Juniors line from November 2006 until November 2007, then worked at Party pieces from January 2008 until 2 months before the royal wedding in 2011. Kate started the ‘First Birthdays’ product line at Party pieces.

The info is available all over the internet. Check some of the royal forums; the press took pics of Kate going to her job at Jigsaw almost every single week that she worked, for that whole year. There are also pics of Kate going to work at the Party Pieces office. Kate worked during the summers when she was a student at uni as well. Sarah, you didn’t respond to the accurate fact I stated: that the People magazine article about the Middletons in Mustique was dated January 20, 2012; LAST year. If your ‘sources in the UK’ weren’t able to show proof, and no reputable news articles exist to back up your ‘sources’, then you should research better before posting an article.
As for the names ‘waity katy’ and ‘the limpet: those phrases were both originally coined on royal forums, NOT by the press. A certain DM journalist saw the phrase ‘waity katy’ on a specific royal forum (a so-called ‘sugar forum’) in 2008 and used it in a DM article, which set the media ball rolling for the use of that phrase.

The media doesn’t use the phrase ‘the limpet’; only people who frequent certain royal forums actually use it. Both phrases are derogatory and negative, they aren’t neutral phrases; if a journalist uses either phrase descriptively they obviously want a negative slant on an article, rather than a neutral one. As for Kate having never worked in her life: again, better research is needed.

I wrote several of the BayouBuzz articles, and we were told by sources in the UK who closely follow the Middleton family that they were likely in Mustique, vacationing. There’s nothing weird about what we write, except that in the UK, people do not enjoy the freedoms of the press and speech that we Americans exercise every day, so they are not allowed to write their opinions or speculations. If Waity Katy (also known popularly in England as “The Limpet” for clinging to the prince people in the UK now call “Mean Willie) goes underground, reporters will still seek her out and write about her. Many Britons are outraged that Waity has never worked in her life, and isn’t working now. They are used to working Royals, not lounging courtesans who are transforming into celebrities. The source link also leads to another article in the ‘bayoubuzz’ regarding the Middletons in Mustique. I read the article and it mentions a ‘People magazine’ article about the Middletons being in Mustique.
Apparently the bayoubuzz used the People mag article as their reference source. The only problem is, the People mag article about the Middletons on vacation in Mustique is dated January 20, 2012! That’s right, January 2012, NOT January 2013.
Anyone writing an article should make sure of the date of their source material, because mistakes like that are embarrassing.

The ‘source’ link included in this article leads to an article posted on an online self-publishing site similar to this celebdirtylaundry site. It’s not a real news site of any kind, and it’s for local articles in the state of Louisiana, which is kind of weird.
The article also took great pains to use some silly names when referring to the Duchess, the same silly names that seem to be popular and used quite frequently on certain royal forums that practically make a religion out of finding things to dislike about Kate. Again, weird.

Lastly, the article very clearly stated:
“We aren’t sure and we don’t have proof, but word is that….” Umm okay. They aren’t sure and they don’t have proof, so they wrote an article. Genius…. NOT.

The fact that the writer of the article posted a disclaimer saying that they ‘aren’t sure’ and they ‘don’t have proof’, but ‘word is’ should make it obvious that it’s only speculation. Word from whom, exactly? William has stated twice to the actual news media that he has to earn a certain amount of flying hours by the end of January, which means right now he’s too busy to go on holiday.

The writer should’ve first provided proof that William and Kate are not in the UK before claiming they’ve jaunted off to Mustique. Otherwise, it’s nothing more than an overactive imagination.
