The painting looks exactly like her. Kate has always looked older to me and she doesn’t have any classic bone structure,so her face doesn’t look well straight on without photoshopping. Also she spent years drinking, partying, sunning on vacations while she pursued William. Her skin is not good, look closely and you can see she has pockmarked skin. People I know who saw her up close when she visited LA, said she’s a plain w bad skin in person.
All the press photos of her have been retouched to levels beyond belief. IMO, The press is just angry the artist showed Kate for what she is. Globs of hair over a plain face, does NOT a beauty make. She’s never been beautiful, it’s all bullcrap press hype because she married a future King, William is plain too.

IT’S HORRIBLE, WAY TO SOBER AND DOESN’T EVEN CAPTURE HER NATURAL BEAUTY THAT SO MANY WOMEN WISHED THEY HAD. HER PERSONALITY SHOWS IN EVERY PHOTO AND THE PAINTING IS SO BAD. PLEASE DO NOT LET THEM USE THAT UGLY PAINTING AS HER OFFICIAL PHOTO. OF COURSE SHE WILL SAY SHE LIKES IT. THE STUPID ARTIST WORKS FOR THE ROYAL FAMILY. WILLIAM SHOULD ASK FOR ANOTHER ARTIST TO DO HER ROYAL PORTRAIT.
