		<description><![CDATA[The Queen will receive a 16% increase in funds this year, but it won&#039;t be from taxpayers.  The Queen no longer receives any taxpayers money at all, because the Civil List that the Monarchy has received since 1706 was ended.  

The Civil List was replaced in 2012 by the Sovereign Support Grant, which gives the Queen a direct percentage of the Crown Estates income, and completely leaves taxpayers out of the situation.  In April of this year Buckingham Palace will receive £36.1m to fund the Queen’s official duties, but the money will come from the Crown Estates only.]]></description>
