Not long after Kelly Clarkson announced her pregnancy, an anonymous report hit the media claiming that her hubby, Brandon Blackstock, has been messing around with someone other than his new baby mama. But an unlikely person is coming to Brandon’s defense, saying that there’s no way on earth these ridiculous rumors are true. Brandon’s defender is his ex-wife, Melissa Ashworth.
The report, originally posted on The Dirty, comes from an anonymous woman who claims they’ve been intimate together. “Brandon has been cheating on Kelly (with me) for the past 5 months,” she begins after insisting she remain anonymous. “We met at a golf club in TN and have exchanged multiple texts and hung out a few times over the last little while. Because his parents are music royalty, Brandon really thinks he is invincible and better than everyone else.
“I don’t even know why I’m saying any of this since my story isn’t that juicy. We haven’t slept together but we’ve been intimate in other ways. I really hope his wife keeps her eye on him because he’s not the great man that she thinks he is.”
Ashworth says of her ex husband that he’s always proved to be a model, ideal partner, both to the person he’s involved with and his children. She reiterates that she’s in full support of Brandon and Kelly as a couple and that anything she says from here on out will be nothing but positive and encouraging.
