Desperate times call for desperate measures! Khloe Kardashian has been working overtime to save her marriage. While she’s on the baby warpath (glaring daggers at all who dare to be fertile in her presence), Lamar Odom is happy to keep things light, partying with women in clubs and refusing to attend fertility appointments with wife-of-three-years, Khloe. But now that Kim Kardashian has announced her unplanned pregnancy, Khloe is putting her running shoes on, and is hoping for a baby by the end of the year! You may remember that she isn’t ovulating, so how can she procreate? Khloe is looking for a surrogate to carry her and Lamar’s bun! Friends promise she’ll be holding a newborn by Christmas!
Khloe “had always been against surrogacy because she really wanted to carry Lamar’s baby herself,” reported a friend to Star Magazine, print edition January 28, 2013. “But now she’s saying it’s her turn to have a baby—and she will go to any length to make it happen.” Khloe has played the supportive sister while forced to watch Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick enjoy the fruit of two unplanned pregnancies.
Now that Kim has announced her pregnancy, Khloe “finally changed her state of mind and decided to use Kim’s pregnancy as motivation to go the surrogate route so she can have a baby as soon as possible!” But it takes two to make a baby. Even paying “half a million dollars for the right” surrogate won’t get Lamar to do his part! Can Khloe convince Lamar to participate in the surrogacy process?
Khloe is turning to E! News anchor Giuliana Rancic, who welcomed her first baby through surrogacy this summer. “Khloe has talked to Giuliana . . . she’s even had Lamar listen in, hoping it would show him how serious she is about having a baby with him.” But Lamar isn’t as eager to become a father—again. He’s notoriously absent from the lives of his two pre-teen children, and doesn’t want to add to his work load.
But Khloe won’t be deterred! “She really thinks that once she and Lamar are holding their child, he’ll stop the partying and check back into their marriage.” Khloe is feeling rock bottom beneath her Jimmy Choo stilettos, and is desperate to climb out of the hole and be the most on-track Kardashian sister. “You can guarantee she’s going to rise out of this tough time in her life and, come hell or high water, she will have a baby by the end of the year.” Do you think a baby could save Khloe and Lamar’s marriage?
