You know, it seems like the Kardashian sisters are always been bullied about their weight. Both Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian always seem to be talking about their weight – so I now have a comment to them: If you don’t want people to say anything about your weight, stop talking about it in every damn interview you give out!
Back to the story. Khloe Kardashian covers the latest issue of Cosmopolitan – and of course they would photoshop her curves away when her entire interview is about her being happy with her curves. Hypocrisy, thy name is the magazine business.
Khloe talks about the constant comparisons to Kourtney Kardashian and Kim [umm, they’re the same size as you sweetie], saying, “I’m confident in who I am. I’ve always known that I’m not Kim and I’m not Kourtney – I’ve always been OK with that. I probably thought I was prettier before I entered the spotlight because being compared to somebody else every day does sort of beat up your spirit and soul. But it’s made me stronger. I’ve gained another level of confidence. I’m pretty tough. I want to say I don’t care, but of course [comments about my body] are going to sting.”
Well, good for her. She’s not taking all those harsh comments on her weight to heart. I wish the same could be said for the rest of her family. Then again, the Kardashians brought all this down on themselves.
However, things get interesting when she adds, “After my father died, I gained a lot of weight, and then I was in the spotlight. I was quickly criticized for not being a cookie-cutter sister like Kourtney and Kim.” Damn, that’s harsh. Unresolved jealousy issues, much?
Then, she ends the interview [or at least, the excerpt] with, “I don’t care what size I am; I care about how I look. If my jeans are tight and I have a little muffin top, then OK, I have to cut down on the carbs. I don’t expect to be a size 2 and nor do I want to be. I’m 5ft 10ins and I like being curvy, but I also like being toned.”
So what we should take away from this interview is that Khloe likes her curves, thinks her sisters are cookie cutter, may have some unresolved jealousy issues, wants you to stop criticizing her, and Cosmo needs a better photoshop person. Perfect.
