By now everyone knows that Kim Kardashian had her baby five weeks early yesterday but what you may not realize is that her daughter’s lungs weren’t fully developed. Kim was technically 35 weeks pregnant upon delivering and a baby’s lungs are generally not ready until 36 weeks inutero. What this means is that her little one had a rocky start. Premies are generally put under ultraviolet lights and have some help breathing until doctors are satisfied that they can exist on their own.
Yesterday, Kim and Kanye West’s baby was kept in NICU under close watch but in 24 short hours according to a source very close to Kim, her daughter is now breathing on her own and sleeping in a bassinet nearby. I’m still surprised that Kanye was at the hospital but I have to think he’s probably blaming himself for his daughters early arrival.
Khloe Kardashian tweeted the great news that Kim’s little baby girl was out of the woods:
“I can not even begin 2describe the miracle that is now apart of our family. Mommy/baby are healthy &resting. We appreciate all of the love.”
She continued: “More info will come when the time is right! Thank you all for understanding! We love you all dearly! Overwhelmed with love right now ♥”
The stress in the last week has been hellish for Kim and it’s scientifically proven that extreme anxiety can cause early labor. Within the last seven days Kanye’s next chick ratted him out to the tabloids and two of his new songs appear to be diss tracks that take aim at Kim. It’s no wonder she had the baby early, the stress on her body was unbearable and Kanye probably felt guilty as hell for knocking her up and then abandoning her so that he could bang random chicks.
