This season of The Bachelor has had a lot of firsts. One contestant refused to kiss on camera, citing cultural reasons, and another left bachelor Sean Lowe sweet, secret notes. But the strangest of all was Lindsay Yenter, who raised eyebrows after stepping out of the limo in a wedding gown. The 24-year-old substitute teacher topped it off with a drunk kiss on night one, and many thought she’d be cut that night. However, she’s made it to the final three, and we’re betting Sean is happy to have kept her! In fact, he said so during the special Sean Tells All.
Sean has been almost too vocal about his re-virginized status, citing his religious beliefs for the weird do-over. Fortunately, he and Lindsay are in the same boat. Friends say that she took “no issue” with Sean’s lifestyle, since she’s also “a dedicated Christian.” But their unusual views on sex didn’t stop the two from enjoying an overnight date in the Thailand fantasy suite, where things got further than Sean wanted.
“She said ‘I love you’ in the fantasy suite,” reported Us Weekly, print edition March 4, 2013. “He did not.” Of course, the bachelor (or bachelorette) is forbidden from making such spoilers, and instead has to euphemistically express their feelings, turning to the less romantic I’m crazy about you or I care about you. So why didn’t Sean commit to the army brat whose friends joke that she attended college “for her MRS degree”? We’ll have to wait until Monday night to find out.
