Although Michelle Rodriguez has been hesitant to discuss her sexuality one way or another in the past, she’s seemed to become more open in recent years. In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly [where she was promoting Machete Kills], she confirms that she’s bisexual, not straight and not gay.
She explains that she understands the rumors and gossip, saying, “I’ve never walked the carpet with anyone, so they wonder: What does she do with her vagina?” She adds, “Plus, I play a butchy girl all the time, so they assume I’m a lesbo. They’re not too far off. I’ve gone both ways. I do as I please. I am too f*cking curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks.”
Michelle has always been one celebrity who won’t hide what she’s thinking, and it’s often gotten her into trouble in the past. Unlike Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who mentions that he’s not going to comment on his sexuality but then adds that he has a ‘secret girlfriend’, Michelle feels no need to bring her personal life and romantic partners when discussing her bisexuality. For her, it’s just the way it is, simple as that. There’s no need to make it a big deal, and it’s actually a refreshing change of pace.
Michelle does have a rather varied relationship history, and she’s been linked to Vin Diesel, Colin Farrell, Olivier Martinez, and Lenny Kravitz as well as Jesse Jane and Kristanna Loken. Although she’s definitely dated both Vin and Colin, the rest are rumors – and rumors that Michelle is not willing to speculate on.
