It must really suck to be in a relationship where trust is so shaky that you feel compelled to check your partners phone all the time. Miranda Lambert refers to herself as a “marriage ninja” and says that she’ll fight to the death to keep her union with Blake Shelton. She has all of his passcodes and passwords and is especially interested in reading his Direct Messages on Twitter. She insists that having access to these things enables her to trust her man completely.
Am I the one who is nuts here for thinking that if you need to spend valuable time double checking what your man does then clearly there is no trust? According to the April 29th print edition of US Weekly Miranda has every intention of standing by Blake and defending him in the press. He has taken a lot of heat for flirty public interactions with other women. Miranda well knows how he rolls since she started out in Nashville as a young ingenue that hooked up with Blake while he was married to another woman.
Miranda is well aware of what buttons to push to get Blake’s attention and somewhere in the back of her head she must worry that his history will repeat itself. Plus they are rarely together! The meet up for a few days and then go in opposite directions for two weeks. Let’s be real here, Miranda has no idea what’s going on when he is away and if she stands by him only because her snooping tells her that she should, well that’s not a solid marriage.
