Tonight on the ABC Family PRETTY LITTLE LIARS continues with the 11th episode of its forth season called, “Now You See Me, Now You Don’t.” On tonight’s show “A” sends the Liars on a quest that leads to Ravenswood. Did you watch last week’s season 4 eighth episode? We did and we recapped it here for you.
On last week’s episode after uncovering recent evidence that suggest “A” was hiding out closer than they realized, the Liars stepped up their investigation into their most recent suspect. Hanna continued to crumble due to her newfound infamy as the daughter of a murder suspect. To complicate matters, Hanna was being stalked by fellow student Travis (Luke Kleintank), until she learned he was hiding a secret that may change her life.
On tonight’s show an intriguing riddle from “A” has the Liars hitting the road and heading to Ravenswood, where they are surrounded by some familiar faces. During a very special magic show, one Liar pulls a disappearing act, leaving the other three scrambling to make sure she hasn’t succumbed to “A’s” tricks. But before they can hightail it out of Ravenswood, they make a shocking discovery that proves that everything they thought they knew about “A” and the “A” team might be wrong. With this discovery, the Liars may just have started “World War A”– #WorldWarA.
Meanwhile, Hanna and her mother’s joyous reunion is cut short when “A’s” sights are set on a new target. And Toby uncovers some surprising information about Wren.

In Class, Aria gets called to the front of the class at the end and is thanked for last night, for being a friend.
Aria’s phone is ringing, it is Jake and she wants to know if they are still on for tonight; he wants to change plans, she suggests dinner and a movie.
At the police station Hanna’s mom talks to Hanna’s boyfriend and he tells her she is fearless and it was great that she didn’t break. She tells him to call her Ashley. The DA comes out and tells Hanna’s mom that they are dropping the charges against her, she is free to go.
Mrs. Marin looks amazing, she is heading out and all the girls tell her she looks fabulous.
The doorbell rings and all the girls head to the door, Hanna thinks her mom forgot her keys but it is a package; it is a kid’s coffin with a doll inside – creepy. They get a text message, “Hanna wins so Mona loses, A”.
There is a news cast and CeeCee’s sketch comes on the TV and the police are looking for you. Aria was going to make dinner for Jake, but decides to change her plans.
Emily goes to see Jackie and asks if she has seen Mona, Jackie insists on speaking French and makes Emily mad. Jackie ends up telling Emily that Mona was expected and did not show up.
It looks like Spencer’s ex boyfriend is moving in with her ex fiance. Toby says he doesn’t want to get any closer to A, it’s just not worth it and Spencer tells him that he needs to know who killed his mom.
Everyone is worried about Mona and doesn’t know where she is. Aria meets with her teacher and they talk about books and she shares about what she used to read when she was little. They end up sitting on a couch and she kisses him.
The girls are so confused and don’t know what to do, the girls are all saying poor Mona when another package arrives. This time is is a box that has nothing inside. Spencer figures out that the top of the box comes up and a saw appears with a message “watch a girl disappear”. Hanna thinks A is putting on a magic show and make Mona disappear forever.
Aria thinks they should look for a magic shop in town, they look on the internet and find that there is a magic show in town that afternoon and they don’t think it is a coincidence.
The girls arrive at the show to find many families with children in the audience. The mime putting on the performance sees the girls and looks at them oddly. Hanna thinks they are being watched by several people. The mime wants Aria to get up on stage and get into the performance, she doesn’t want to and suggests Hanna goes up but he won’t take no for answer. Aria goes into the box and voila she is gone. Then the mime makes her reappear, thankfully.
All of a sudden, the girls notice that Emily is gone; while they were watching Aria, Emily disappeared.
Emily is stuck in some sort of box, it is dark, she thinks she is in a coffin; she hears a saw and it’s big and loud. Emily is freaking out and says the saw is coming closer. The girls check a GPS and find out where EMily is, she is on a conveyor belt and is about to be sawed in right down the middle if the girls don’t get her out of the box quick. Someone, turns off the power button and the saw stops, just in time. It is a girl in a red coat with her face covered by a hood. Aria runs after her and they get into a dirty kicking fight, it is CeeCee in the red coat and she jumps for a rope that breaks, Aria tries to grab her and the jacket lets go, CeeCee falls to her death.
Spencer asks Aria if CeeCee is dead, we thought she was, but her fingers are moving; the girls all hug each other and “poof” CeeCee is gone. One of them says the bitch has nine lives. Spencer thinks Ali wanted them to see something, she takes the girls to a room that has everything documented. Hanna sees something and puts it in her purse. They find monitoring systems, A has been watching their every move.
Spencer finds information on A’s bank account, there were two payments made to CeeCee last week. Hanna looks in the closet and finds guys’ clothes, says she think A is a guy. They also find photos of themselves in an album. Aria thinks that A has not just been following them, but Allie as well. If Allie has been alive this whole time, then whose funeral did they go to.
The girls head outside and see this woman that tells them that it is dangerous to go after her. She tells the girls that she was afraid and she gave her gift of insight to Allison to help her find out who was following her. The woman drove to Rosewood, to Allison’s backyard and she was reaching for live from a grave. She was very confused, she was shocked. She drove her right to the hospital. She ran in to get help and when she returned, Allison was gone. The woman asks the girls if they haven’t all felt that Allison is not gone. Hanna tells her that Allison can trust them, but she insists that Allison does not want to be found and they have to leave Rosewood right away, he is watching them and hopes they lead him to Allison.
The girls are still being watched, they decide they are going to crash a party.
All of a sudden we see Ezra dressed in a suit, he heads to A’s apartment, slams a door then dresses up in an army outfit with a gas mask to cover his face.
