Prince William and Kate Middleton will give their support to the Poppy Appeal, which will be held later today at Kensington Palace. The event works to honor the servicemen and servicewomen who lost their lives in the First and Second World Wars, as well as those who continue to lend their service and lives to current conflicts. The royal couple will attend alongside other members of the royal family. Baby Prince George might even peek his head out into the world and give a lil’ hello!

Hello Canada reports, “They will meet staff and volunteers of the organisation when their 1960’s routemaster bus tour of London stops at the royal residence. The new parents will also join the royal family to pay their respects to fallen military servicemen and women on Remembrance Sunday for the annual ceremony held at the Cenotaph this weekend.”

When pictures become available (we’re sure it’ll only be a matter of time), we’ll be sure to post them so you can revel in all the royal emotions.
