Robert Pattinson seemed to be getting over Kristen Stewart and moving past his days as one-half of the Robsten couple since their split in May; but we should all know by now that things are never as they seem – especially in Hollywood. While Kristen was overseas pouring her heart out into a screen play she is writing on breaks from shooting scenes for her latest film, Rob was partying (allegedly with plenty of cocaine) and dating model Dylan Penn.
That romance proved short lived and can best be described in one word – rebound. It was just a means to an ends; a way for Rob to transition from being in a committed relationship to being newly single. But the first sign that he wasn’t over Kristen was the fact that he was attracted to Dylan because like Kristen she has a quirky sense of humor, and, “marches to the beat of her own drummer.”
Sharing similarities with Kristen was not enough to hold Rob’s interest and so Dylan wasn’t the only gal on his radar. Hollywood Life reported that at the Weekend listening party at LA hotspot No Vacancy on September 17th Robert who was out with boys, made time to flirt with Hunger Games star Leven Rambin. But not to worry Robsten fans, likely Rob just thought Leven smelled good that night since he did just reveal to Portuguese magazine Activa that he is attracted to how a girl smells – we are not talking perfume here we are talking the science of pheromones. Rob said, “I like the smell of people. It is really strange and I’m sure it has to do with pheromones. We like people because subconsciously we like the way they smell. I always find this very interesting to observe.”
Although he has many girls willing to be at his disposal there is still one girl whose pheromones he can’t seem to shake – the other half of Robsten – Kristen Stewart. Rob is finding that broken hearts don’t mend easily and although he found it hard to be with her after finding out she cheated with her then married director Rupert Sanders, he is having just as hard of a time being without her. He thought that dating again would help him get over Kristen but being with other girls has only proven to make him miss her more.
A friend of Rob’s told Hollywood Life that, “[Rob] will ask about [Kristen], but really nonchalantly because he doesn’t want anyone to know he still has strong feelings for her,” adding that it is obvious that, “Rob still loves Kristen.” His feelings remain so strong for her that Rob has even devised a way to reconnect with his former love by setting up doggie play dates for Bear and Bernie the two dogs they use to share together.
Seems these two Twilight stars, whose chemistry on and off screen catapulted them into stardom, might just have that vampire love – a love immortal.
