Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici are still together? Color me surprised. I guess they still have to maintain pretenses for their ongoing sham of a relationship.
Anyway, Sean and Catherine recently tweeted about the Desiree Hartsock and Brooks Forester debacle on the Bachelorette. Ok, calling it a debacle might be an exaggeration. For those who haven’t been following the latest season of the Bachelorette, Brooks dumped Desiree after she basically told him she would marry him, and Desiree’s heart was broken in front of millions of viewers.
Sean and Catherine tweeted their comments on the Finale Part 1 after it ended, and they seemed to disagree. Sean’s tweet was in support of Brooks, saying, “Much respect for Brooks. Not everyone can see beyond the show.” Hinting at his own situation, I see. Catherine, on the other hand, tweeted in support of Desiree, saying, “Ughhhhhhhhhh. I can’t stand to see Des go through this.”
Well, considering their own views and experiences on the Bachelor and Bachelorette, I’m not surprised by their differing views on the show. We all know how ‘real’ Sean’s and Catherine’s relationship is, and Sean probably doesn’t want to see Brooks go through the same thing. Score 1 for Sean on that front.
Of course, Desiree and Catherine have their friendship, and obviously Catherine would support her friend. Having gone through something similar, she knows the heartbreaking consequences of losing your ‘love’. Ok, she knows the heartbreaking consequences of almost losing a lot of money, but it’s the same thing for these people. I highly doubt Brooks went on the Bachelorette to ‘find love’, and that’s exactly what Sean is saying when he says that they have to look past the show. He knows all about it. The contracts, the agreements, the timeline. But since we already know Brooks is coming back, it’s all a moot point anyway.
