The decaying romance of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez is finally done; the couple split while on vacation in Mexico just before New Years. Neither is forthcoming with the details, but a friend of the couple dished that their love couldn’t withstand all the trust issues that had built up. Don’t expect any more on-again-off-again status updates—Selena is done with him, no matter how much he grovels (though recent pictures of her show she’s still hurting)! And even though they both recognize personal flaws, it sounds like the ball was in Selena’s court!
The source reported to Us Weekly, print edition January 21, 2013, “They had another huge fight, and Selena won’t forgive him. They had mutual trust issues.” Though I can’t think of anything big that Selena’s done to Justin, I’m sure she’s made mistakes too! Just smaller ones than hooking up with an underwear model! So it really was Selena who ended things, which is great for her reputation. From now on, she’ll be known as the girl who was secure enough to break up with Justin Bieber and ignore his pleas!
