Super Bowl XLVII is here! Yes, Super Bowl 2013 is ready and so are we here at Celeb Dirty Laundry. Thanks to a reminder from out friends at Earsucker we are bringing you videos of all the hot new Super Bowl commercials, and trust me, they are way more fun than a boring old football game. In fact, truth be told, I don’t know which teams are playing. Just kidding! I mean I didn’t know until last night when my boytoy said, “I bet you don’t even know who is playing tomorrow.” So when I replied “Beyonce,” and he began laughing, I decided to do a little research – very little.
Okay here it is – just in case you didn’t know (or didn’t care) the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers will contest this year’s Super Bowl. Two groups of large grown men will attempt to move a ‘football’ across their opponents’ goal lines to score ‘points.’ This ball is made partially of animal skin and so we would expect PETA to launch an anti-Super-Bowl protest and boycott of the game. Instead you can see PETA’s banned Super Bowl ad below. America is nothing if not odd. You can watch people kill, torture, maim, and beat each other on American TV 24/7, (NO WE DON”T MEAN NFL FOOTBALL – Ha!), but a little sexuality and everyone gets all puritanical.
