And this is why Taylor Swift is awesome… and why she doesn’t have long-term relationships. She doesn’t suffer fools or Biebers.
In perhaps one of the greatest videos EVER, Taylor was seen last night at the Billboard Music Awards showing everyone just what she thinks about a Selena Gomez/Justin Bieber Billboard reconciliation. Let’s break it down from the beginning.
Apparently Selena and Taylor were walking backstage and ran into Justin and his entourage. Selena stopped to talk while Taylor just kept on walking by but not before she witnessed Selena squeeze Justin in for the real thing along with a polite peck on the cheek. There are conspiracy theorists out there right now who insist that Justin was trying to kiss her on the lips but she diverted but I couldn’t tell all that from the 4 second video. Anyway, who cares about that? That shit’s the boring part! As Selena leaned in Taylor looked away and stuck her tongue out in a nasty grimace. It’s basically the same face anyone has nowadays when Justin’s name comes up. Amaze. Truly.
And telling. What could this possibly tell us, you ask? Boatloads of things! First we know Taylor obviously doesn’t want those two back together (but then again who does?). This should comfort you. Selena values Taylor’s friendship and her bestie opinion. If Taylor’s not for a reconciliation then, hopefully, Selena will stay away. AND this video shows us that Bieber’s star is officially fading. First he gets booed by the audience and then Taylor rips on him in front of a host of others. Clearly, there’s little respect going on there. And that makes me happy.
But will this break up last? Taylor Swift stuck her tongue out in obvious disgust but Selena still might have those old feelings. Is a friend’s displeasure enough to keep her away for good? Also, Miley Cyrus was just seen in the studios with Bieber. She should cut and run. I wouldn’t want to be associated with him right now. Would you?
