This season’s Bachelor, Sean Lowe has really been raked over the coals for his sexuality– or lack of it. The 29-year old has been pretty vocal in his position on sex, that it’s simply not happening until he marries someone. Throwing him into the proverbial shark tank filled with hot, eligible women and then finding out that all he wanted to do in The Fantasy Suite is play checkers, well, it was kind of a letdown, especially for the final three.
According to Sean he did have sex back in college but then decided that he would rather wait and make sure that the next chick in his bed will be there forever (in theory anyway). All of this abstinence in a show that’s known for itty bitty bikini’s, hot tub action and middle of the night hook ups that both parties deny the next day is kind of strange. It has also led to rumors that Sean isn’t celibate by choice, but that he needs some major Viagra to get things going.
Then there’s the gay rumor, of course. You know, the one where he is on the show as a fame seeker and really prefers men? That probably stems from his stint as a fitness model. His photos are epic and he is very much appreciated in the gay community. Not only that, but he has been grateful for the attention and has publicly acknowledged it as well.
According to OK! Magazine, Sean is simply saving himself for his wife and once again spoke out to try and lay the rumors to rest. His fiance’ is said to be having a tough time with his sex ban. She was not celibate before being cast on the show and so this is truly foreign to her. Will she continue to respect Sean’s wishes?
