The Voice RECAP 4/1/13: Season 4 “Blind Auditions Part 3”

THE VOICE returns to NBC tonight as the Blind Auditions continue with part 3 and a new round of promising new singers. Last week was the premiere of the fourth season on The Voice and the first and second night of Blind auditions where contestants sang in front of this season’s coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira and Usher. Did you watch last week’s episode? We did and we recapped it here for you!

On last week’s show Carson and the coaches returned to Universal Studios’ Soundstage 12 for another round of blind auditions. The first night’s performers set a high bar – and the coaches knew that decisions they made can mean all the difference later in the season.  The standout performance last week was the night’s final artist: 22-year-old Sarah Simmons from Memphis.  Her musical style blends blues, soul and rock, and tonight she’s got a perfect showcase ballad: Joan Osborne’s “One of Us.”  The judges were desperate to land her, but it was Adam who made the most impassioned plea, practically guaranteeing her a shot at winning it all.

On tonight’s show “The Blind Auditions” continue with grammy award-winning vacalist Adam Levine, Shakira, Usher and CMA Entertiner of the year Blake Shelton –  The “blind auditions” continue and are held in front of a celebrity panel of coaches including, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira and Usher. The strongest vocalists from across the country compete to be selected by one of the coaches and fight for a chance to win the title of being named “The Voice.” Christina Milian (“Be Cool”) serves as Social Media Correspondent and Carson Daly (“Last Call with Carson Daly”) hosts.

Tonight’s “Season 4 premiere Night 3” is going to be an exciting one, which you won’t want to miss.
