LIVE RECAP:

The night eight became six. Sheryl Crowe opens tonight event with one of her new songs and several contestants from Team Blake.

Adam still wants to push his team into taking risks. But is one of them going to go home because of his risky management?

Shakira supports her candidate while Usher, leg cocked up yet again, gives his own words of wisdom. Blake finishes his aside when Carson gives a personal thanks to Blake and his wife for what they did for Oklahoma. Also there is going to be a benefit concert tomorrow for Disaster Relief.

Team Usher’s Michelle Chamuel and Team Adam’s Judith Hill come together to perform Florence Welsh’s song “Sweet Nothing”. Immediately after the duet the first safe artist is called. It’s Michelle.

Now it’s Sasha Allen and The Swan Brothers turn to perform. A country song that favored the brothers more than it could Sasha. The next safe artist is Danielle.

Michelle and her mom have a chat with Christina Milan. Her mom tells everyone how nervous she was meeting Usher. Christina assures her by saying she’s now a fan before putting on a pair of red specs.

Danielle and Sarah perform “A Thousand Years”. Afterwards the footage from the confessional are shown. They all are weird and goofy but the footage offers a momentary relief before the next artist is called. Sasha is saved. This of course sends Shakira running up to hug Sasha before she hugs Usher. Her infectious excitement can barely be reined in.

Amber and Holly perform together. Neither try to outdo each other, which can’t be said for others, and now let’s see if that paid off. The next person safe is actually two. The Swann Brothers are here to stay another week.

Down to four contestants. Three of whom are Team Adam. The next person safe is Amber. Adam doesn’t get too excited though. Although he has his fingers crossed for someone still on the stage. Sadly the next person safe just happens to be from Team Blake. Holly is safe.

Now what will happen next week? It’s looking like Team Blake may have all of the coveted spots in the upcoming weeks.

Here’s the rundown:
