I know that The X Factor seriously tanked in the ratings this season and the show really kind of went out with a whimper on Dec. 19th with lovey dovey couple, Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton winning the recording contract. Of course most of the top five finishers will likely find themselves inked to a deal somewhere, but everyone wanted to win the season. If you did tune in then you’re already really familiar with Alex and Sierra who seem pretty incapable of giving a bad performance. They just kind of look at each other and sing like no one else is in the room and 3 minutes later you’re in love with their love affair and hope they live happily ever after.
According to the Jan. 6th print edition of National Enquirer producers realized that these two on stage, like any stage, are like lightening in a bottle and so there is a good chance that we will be seeing Alex and Sierra on a weekly basis. They are actually kicking around the idea of bringing back an old variety show format and perhaps Alex and Sierra could be like a modern Sonny and Cher. I’m not sure about skits, but their folksy style might actually work in that kind of setting.
While the powers-that-be work out the kinks we do know that the couple is headed into the studio in January to get busy making their first album. Did you tune into the X Factor?
