Aaron Rodgers and Kevin Lanflisi Gay Couple Rumors: Now Homophobic Slurs In Locker Room and On Football Field (VIDEO)

Aaron Rodgers is at the center of the Hollywood rumor mill right now, after reports of him being gay and having a boyfriend came out. These rumors are still unsubstantiated, and Aaron claims they are unequivocally not true. Do we believe him? Well, that’s a different story, but he’s staunchly sticking to his claim, explaining that he apparently ‘really, really likes women‘.

Anyway, despite Aaron’s denials of being gay, he’s reportedly been the butt of many gay jokes, both in the locker room and on the football field. A source tells Hollywood Life, “Some jokes in the locker room so far have been brutal with some saying stuff like, ‘No wonder he plays for the Packers’ among other derogatory statements.”

The source also adds that Aaron is preparing for the worst comments to come during the Green Pay – San Francisco match on January 5th, adding, “The NFL is littered with so much awful trash talk that the San Francisco defense will be on Aaron’s case all game with comments about his sexual preference. The players are a**holes on the field and will use anything they can to gain an advantage and Aaron is prepared for it.”

You know, this might actually be true. There’s a reason that athletes generally don’t publicly come out as gay while they’re still in the prime of their careers – it’s because of stuff like this. Whether he’s gay or not gay is not the issue, it’s the way people react to the perceived rumors. And clearly, a lot of them are not reacting to it in a positive manner.

What do you guys think? Is this being blown out of proportion, or do you think Aaron is actually getting harassed by his teammates and others for the rumors? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

Football is a extremely macho society – don’t doubt there would be derogatory comments on and off the field.
