Alex Preston sang, “Too Close” by Alex Clare this week for his Love Break-up song choice. This week each of the finalists chose two songs for the “Love: Break-ups and Make-up” themed performance show one about break-ups and one about making up.

The Top 4 will really have to bring their A game tonight to stay around for another week, we expect a higher level of performances as the contestant pool diminishes as we head towards the May finale. On last week’s episode Alex sang ““Sweater Weather” by The Neighborhoud and Jennifer loved his rendition saying, ““You’re face was like beaming and so excited to be there. I could see why America chose this song for you, I agree with keith I do wish you had pushed it more and made it a little more exciting. That’s what you gotta think about as the show leader. Now you’re up against the big boys now.”
On the next live results show airing Thursday, one contestant will be sent home. We will find out who hit the right emotional chord and makes it through to the Top Three.
