Laurel hasn’t been herself since her sister Sara was murdered. She’s been angry and vengeful with no outlet in sight. Then she found the Wildcat gym. And the people there helped her get passed her anger. They even showed her how to channel it so it didn’t get out of hand or end up ruining her life.
But now Laurel’s safe place is being threatened!

There’s a new vigilante in town. And he’s targeting all those he finds guilty. He went after the most notorious gang in the city and left its members’ dead bodies hanging upside down. So Oliver believes the new guy to be too dangerous to have around. He wants to find him and try bring him in as peacefully as he can.

However to do that they’ll have to be one man short. Because just like Laurel, Roy hasn’t been doing so well either. He’s been losing sleep and it has even begun to affect his work. Hence Oliver made him sit out the hunt for the vigilante. But while Roy was back at the labs seeking courage to ask Felicity for help, Oliver stumbled across another one of the vigilante’s kills. And this the victim’s body was found in Laurel’s gym.

Laurel is good friends with the gym owner. Ted’s been there for her when she really needed him to. So, honestly, she wants to believe him when he said he doesn’t know why a body was found in his gym. Yet Oliver keeps on insinuating there’s more to the story.

The bodies they had found were all beaten to death. By a brass knuckles wearing leftie no less. And funnily enough they know someone who would match the identity of their killer – Ted. He was once a boxer and it’s a well-known fact he’s a leftie.

So Oliver decided to check out a storage unit Ted had taken out and once he was in inside there was a second dead body waiting for him. But Ted was right behind Oliver and he swore he’s not the killer and to prove it – he admits to once being a vigilante himself. It seems six years ago he used to help people in the glades.

Then someone died and Ted retired. He didn’t become a vigilante just to kill people so he walked away when things got out of control. Yet someone was very upset at Ted when he did that. And one person in particular felt Ted should have kept on doing what he was doing – namely his apprentice.

The same way Oliver has Roy, Ted had someone too. And both of their apprentices disappointed them in the end.

Ted’s Isaac was the one that killed someone six years ago. And after Ted saw him do it – he walked away from the life they had built together. Which led to Isaac wanting revenge. Then, later, when Ted was taken into police custody over the recent murders – Oliver had to learn about Roy’s own deception.

Roy had asked Felicity to run an analysis on him to see whether or not he still had mirakuru in his system. She said she hadn’t but when Roy started to talk about his weird dreams – his description of events matched the autopsy she had done on Sara. So Felicity ran several other tests and most of which made Roy look even guiltier.

So Roy confessed to Oliver. He told him and Laurel that he was the one that killed Sara. And at first Oliver wanted to hate him. Yet he couldn’t turn his back on Oliver. Not only would it have been difficult to do so but his friends would never have allowed him to anyway.

And Roy proved to be of great help when Oliver needed him. Ted’s friend had attacked him and Laurel after she got him off on the murder charges. Apparently Isaac hadn’t given up his on vigilante days when Ted did so he was eventually caught by one of their enemies.

The gang went on to torture Isaac for days on end and that’s what made him crack. He killed them in order to escape and afterwards it was easy to arrange things so that Ted looked guilty. But Isaac had gone too far when he took Laurel prisoner as well as Ted.

Because that drew Oliver’s attention. Oliver and Roy showed up to rescue Ted and Laurel. And after Roy had done so much to help him – Oliver returned the favor. He showed Roy a trick he had picked up in China. It focuses someone‘s mind and reveals their memories.

And Roy didn’t kill Sara. He had killed someone else back when the mirakuru was in his system and Sara’s death had only triggered the memories. So while he didn’t kill a friend – he’s still a murderer and that something he has to learn to live with.

As for Oliver, he’s going to want Roy but there’s another vigilante calling herself cupid that needs his attention!

THE END!
