Tonight on MTV their comedy series AWKWARD about an under-the-radar teen continues with an all new Tuesday November 25, season 4 episode 21 called, “Sprang Break, Part 2,” and we have your recap below. On tonight’s episode, in the conclusion of a two-part story arc, the gang head to a beach house in Mexico.

On tonight’s episode as per the MTV synopsis, “Matty gets some words of wisdom from his biological dad and it turns that the wild Spring Break festivities will continue on at Ally’s rental house in Rosarito.”

Jenna is happy about her college acceptance and is ready to make the most of the rest of Spring Break. Lissa gets snippy with her and asks why her shorts have only one string and almost yanks at her tampon. Sadie hassles her about being chum and going fishing since she’s on the rag. Matty and Gabby are headed to see his dad and Jenna says she’d like to meet him sometime but Gabby tells her he just met him.
Theo and Cole haul Lissa off to jail break her gay dad and Jake complains about not getting into Northwestern. Ally complains about all of them and takes her boy toy Gustavo off for fun. Ally asks Jenna where her mom is and she says she’s napping. Jenna is sad about Matty not letting her meet her dad and she runs into Brian on the beach.
He asks if she has time to hang out and offers her some food. Kevin shows up and finds Lacey barfing. Ally comes looking for her and hears Lacey telling Kevin she’s pregnant. Ally screams no. Val is out in the ocean petting what she thinks is a dolphin. Will screams at her to get out of the water and tells her those were sharks and shows her that her arm is bleeding. She passes out.
Will explains Val had a little incident and she calls it a near death incident. Sadie says all of Mexico is near death and Sergio gets mad at him. Val says she escaped the jaws of her death and he says it literally was jaws of death. Val tells him she needs to embrace life or death and Ally says the place is like a morgue.
Val says she and Biggie decided to quit their school jobs and travel the world. Sadie gets ugly about it and Sergio asks why she’s so shitty to everyone. He says he can’t take her any more and swims away. Matty’s dad Dan gives him a cheesy cheap necklace and Matty tries to act like he liked it but he’s clearly uncomfortable.
Sadie is annoyed that Tamara is the only one there to celebrate with her but then Lissa is there with Theo and Cole. She says her dad escaped gay rehab. They see Jenna and she introduces Tamara to Brain and his cute friend Adam. Sadie is doing shots alone when Wilson, another of Brian’s friends, approaches. She thinks he was crushing on Lissa but he says he was looking at her and says he likes that she’s bitchy and crazy.
Wilson buys Sadie another drink. Adam tells Tamara he thinks she’s cute. Kevin tells Lacey they can do it and says they had a lot more against them with their last kid. She says at least this time she won’t be the youngest in the PTA. They worry about how to tell Jenna. Adam flirts with Tamara who is being unnaturally quiet and soaking up the appreciation.
Lissa’s gay dad Joe shows up and says Theo and Cole texted him to invite him down. Brian tells Jenna she should always be moving forward. She says she’s trying and he says she needs to do more than that. He says he thinks she’s strong and has a big life ahead of her. She kisses him. Tamara runs over and says Adam is amazing and he’s so hot she forgets to talk.
Tamara blabs non-stop all over them and asks if she’ll see him again. Tamara says hells to the yes and tells her they’re engaged and shows her a ring on her finger. What?? Tamara says they got it from a street vendor and Jenna tells her she’s insane. Tamara says Adam is adorbs and fits her to a tee. She says he’s shipping out and she likes giving him something to look forward to.
Dan chats with Matty and Gabby falls behind but reassures him she’s okay. Matty says he doesn’t think she was enjoying the fishing. Dan says she’s a keeper for helping him find his dad and coming down with him to meet up with him. He says not every girl cares that much and tells Matty she’s his soul mate.
Joe tells Lissa that God made him gay and he shouldn’t try and change it. Joe says accepting God makes him accept God more and Lissa says that’s cool and a God she could hang with. She says she misses believing in something and says believing in nothing is depressing. Wilson tells Sadie she’s gorgeous and she says she has an idiot that she treats like shit who tells her that every day. She gives him a quick kiss and leaves.
Jake looks for Matty and Gabby says he’s alone and she thinks something his dad said to him set him off. She says it’s been a long day and says it sucks about Northwestern. He says it sucks when you do everything right but things still don’t go your way. She agrees that it does and tells him it’s Northwestern’s loss and offers him a hug.
Jenna brings Brian around and introduces him to her parents. Jenna tells Brian her mom is going off to college but Lacey says probably not. She tells Jenna she was waiting for the right time to tell her. She says guess what? I’m pregnant. Jenna asks if it was on purpose and Lacey says not really. Jenna says good and she’s going to be a big sister but won’t be around.
Lacey says she’s going to be the only Hamilton girls going to college but Jenna says she has to go. She says she was the first baby that kept her out of college and can’t let it happen again. Sadie tells Sergio she’s sorry for being a bitch and he says she did because she’s a finely tuned bitch machine. She says she was being a bitch because she doesn’t like the idea of missing him.
She says she doesn’t want to miss him and he tells her TFB. Matty finds Lacey and asks for Jenna. He asks where she went and Lacey tells him she’s on a walk with a guy she met. Lacey tells him to stop and let Jenna move on with her life. She tells Matty he’s broken her heart enough and has had his chance. He gets mad and asks – I broke her heart? He walks away.
Tamara tells Adam she’ll miss him but he says he’s not leaving for nine months and they can get married before he leaves. Jake and Gabby did it and lie in bed looking guilty. Matty watches Jenna and Brian play on the beach. Jake catches him there and asks what he’s doing and who that is with Jenna. Jake tells him he has to tell him something about Gabby.
Matty tells him to just say it. Matty says he’s the only person he trusts and he knows what he’s going to say. He says he knows he and Gabby aren’t right together. He says his bio dad said they were soul mates and is the wrongest person ever who can’t read anyone. He says he hopes he didn’t inherit that. Matty looks at Jenna and Jake wimps out and doesn’t tell him about shagging Gabby.
Matty asks him to check on Gabby for him and Jake agrees then tells him if he has feelings for Jenna he should tell her but Matty says he can’t. He watches her with Brian like a giant creeper and says he had his chance.
