Week 3 of Big Brother 16 was supposed to be an easy week. Head of Households Nicole and Derrick have had a plan since they were given the keys to the HOH room. First they put four pawns up on the block, and then they planned to “back-door” Devin at the Power of Veto Ceremony and get him out of the BB16 house once and for all. If you have been watching the spoilers on the Big Brother live feeds, then you are well aware that there was a wrench thrown in to their plans, and there is a possibility that all hell could break loose again this week.
After the Battle of the Block competition, Donny and Amber were safe and Jocasta and Caleb remained on the chopping block. When it was time to play the Power of the Veto, Jocasta was too sick to participate and had to sit out on the opportunity to save herself. So, Christine, Devin, and Donny were randomly selected to play with Caleb and Derrick. We haven’t seen the competition, but we’re sure Devin played like his life in the BB16 house depended on it (literally). In the end, the POV winner was Donny.
Donny has become a rather unpredictable character in the Big Brother house, he seems to have made several small alliances on the side, so it’s hard to tell who he is really loyal to. And, let’s not forget that he just pulled a slick smooth with Nicole, and ran and told Brittany and Jocasta what Nicole had told him in private. They haven’t held the POV ceremony yet, but according to live feed spoilers, Donny is considering using the Power of Veto to save Jocasta since she was sick and wasn’t able to participate in the POV competition for herself (which is ironic because we all know how horrible she is at competitions, and if she had played the odds of her winning are slim to none).
Derrick, the remaining HOH, obviously wants Donny to use the POV on either Jocasta or Caleb so that he can back-door Devin. However, when Caleb volunteered to go up on the block, he kind of planned on having the POV used on himself to back-door Devin. At the end of the day, you are never safe in the Big Brother house. Even if Donny does save Jocasta, and Devin is back-doored, there is still a chance Caleb could get voted out. Anything is possible!
