Big Brother 16 has kicked off with a bang this summer, and we are heading in to week 3 of the popular reality TV series. On Thursday July 10th Paola Shea was officially evicted and two new Head of Households were crowned, Derrick and Nicole. The two HOH’s seem to have a common goal, back-dooring villain Devin and getting him out of the BB16 house. In order to “back-door” a houseguest, Derrick and Nicole will have to put four pawns up for nomination and then win the POV and veto their own nominations and put Devin up in their place.
Technically we won’t learn who Derrick and Nicole nominated until Big Brother airs on CBS again on Sunday July 12th. However, if you have been following the live feed Big Brother spoilers, then you are well aware that they have already held their nominations ceremony. The BB16 spoilers on the live feed revealed that Nicole nominated Donny and Amber, and Derrick nominated Caleb and Jocasta.
Everyone in the Big Brother house seems to be working together this week to try to get Devin evicted. Caleb was already caught on the live feeds discussing the Battle of the Block competition and toying with the idea of throwing the competition so that Amber and Donny will be removed from the block. That way Caleb will be able to remain on the block and participate in the POV ceremony later this week. Basically the only way Devin will be safe in the house and will not be back-doored, is if by some streak of luck he is randomly chosen to compete in the Power of Veto competition, and wins the veto and chooses not to use it, so the HOH can’t place him on the block in someone’s place.
