Tonight’s episode of Chicago Fire kicks off with Kelly out jogging with his new wife Brittany, they stop to roll in the grass and make out at the park.  Her cell phone starts ringing and she ignores her mom’s call.  Kelly says he has Thanksgiving off – he wants to go to Florida with her to meet her parents.  She says her parents are going on a cruise so they should just stay home for the holiday.

Dawson and Casey arrive at the fire station, and Sherman catches them making out in the truck before they go inside.  Inside Cruz corners Sylvie and invites her to grab some drinks with him after Zumba tomorrow.  She offers to meet him at Molly’s with the gang – but he corrects her and says he wants to go on a date with her, just the two of them.  Sylvie turns him down and says he is one of her only friends in Chicago and she doesn’t want to mess it up.

A call comes in for an accident, they arrive at the scene and find a rig leaking hydrochloric acid.  They have to break out the hazmat suits and shut down the street.  Dawson flags down a dump truck full of sand and uses it to contain all the spilled acid.  When she is done she thinks she did an amazing job – but Boden and Casey are not happy with her.  Back at the station Boden corners Casey and tells him that he needs to speak to Dawson and she had no business driving the truck through the spill without protective gear on.  Afterwards, Boden calls Mouch in to his office and tells him he needs to go to the doctor’s office and get his eyes cleared or else he is off duty.

Casey takes Dawson in to an office and lectures her about disobeying his orders and driving through the hot zone without gear on.  He informs her that if she does it again – he will have no choice but to kick her off the team.  She laughs that what she did was “pretty cowboy,” but he isn’t laughing, he is dead serious.  Mills finds Dawson crying in the shower, she lies and says she jut can’t decide if she is going to take a shower or not.
Mouch heads to the doctor to gets his eye examined after the accident.  He rambles to the doctor about how hot glass eyes are.  The doctor informs

Mouch that his eye is healed up just fine and he can get back to work.  He laughs that he owes her a steak dinner – and the doctor says he can take her out to dinner on Friday.  Mouch is shocked, and complains to the crew that he is taken and Trudy is goin ot rip his head off.  Cruz is obviously bothered that women are throwing themselves at Mouch and Sylvie just friend-zoned him.

Mills and Sylvie get a call of an unresponsive male at the high-school.  They arrive and find a kid named Jason at the pool passed out.  After a few rounds of CPR Jason comes to and starts begging them not to call his dad.  His friends explain that they already called him and he is on his way.  His father arrives as they are loading him in to the ambulance and they reassure him he is fine and he agrees to meet them at the hospital.  En route to the hospital Jason starts coding and Mills screams to Sylvie that he is secondary drowning and begins trying to revive him again.  Sylvie floors it but they are still a minute out form the hospital.

They arrive at the hospital with Jason and rush him in and the doctors and nurses get to work on him ASAP.  Mills watches as they call his time of death and announce him dead, and Sylvie comforts him.  They head back to the ambulance and there is a media frenzy outside.  They learn that Jason was the son of a major Chicago mobster, they call him the “John Gotti of Chicago.”  Mills and Sylvie head back to the fire station and Cruz comforts Sylvie in the kitchen.

Brittany and Kelly share a moment while he shows her Shay’s old badge and thanks her for helping him cope with her death.  Brittany breaks down crying and confesses she was driving the car when her sister died.  She lied and her parents aren’t on a cruise, she just doesn’t know if she can face them.  Kelly reassures her that her parents don’t blame her for what happened, and she needs to stop blaming herself for it.
The next day Jason’s father shows up at the fire station and curses him out and screams that he killed his son.  Mills insists that he tried everything to save Jason and he wishes that he did and apologizes to him.  Jason’s father threatens him and tells him that he is dead before his bodyguards drag him away.

At home Dawson tries to calk to Casey about him yelling at her at work, but he tells her that he can’t talk to her about it fiancé to fiancé, it’s too hard for him to separate work from home.  Meanwhile, Brittany finally takes her mom’s call and Kelly overhears her crying and telling her mom how much she misses her.
Mouch called the doctor’s office to tell his eye doctor that he can’t take her out to dinner, but she was so excited he didn’t have the heart to tell her.  Boden says enough is enough and he orders Mouch to cancel the date before Trudy finds out.

A call comes in for a structure fire, they rush to the building and find a frantic man begging them to get his wife out of her office in the building.  Boden doesn’t want them going in because the roof is going to cave in.  The man runs back in to the building and Casey and Dawson put on their masks and go in after him.  Casey and Dawson manage to find the man with thermal cameras and get him out of the building.  While they are working on him, someone brings his wife out from the back door and she is okay.

At Molly’s later that night Brittany tells Kelly that he has to go home to her parents in Florida.  Kelly understands and he confesses he has just been using Brittany as a coping mechanism to that he iddn’t have to deal with Shay’s death.  But he needs to learn how to deal with it on his own, and Brittany needs to go home and deal with her sister’s death.

Trudy crashes Mouch’s steak dinner date, and announces she knows everything.  She went to the eye doctor’s office and told her that it was all a misunderstanding and Mouch doesn’t want to date her.  She also gave Trudy Mouch’s clearance papers.

Sylvie meets up with Cruz at Molly’s and confesses that she has never dated someone that was nice to her before.  But, she thinks that they should go out on a date and it would be a really good idea, Cruz is thrilled.  Meanwhile, Kelly takes Brittany to the bus station and they say their goodbyes and reflect on their very short marriage.  At Molly’s Dawson sits down with Mills and fills him in on her and Casey’s problems, he holds her hand and comforts her and Casey walks in and catches them.

THE END!
