Annie and McQuaid thought they only the Russians to contend with on tonight’s season finale. However no one knows about Calder. Or more importantly about the woman he’s in love with and yet can’t have because thanks to Belenko she’s residing in the hospital on what looks like long-term care. So, really, no one knows what Calder will do once he gets his hands on Belenko!

And the scary part is no one is questioning his loyalty to the agency when they really should be!

Joan as an acting director in the CIA has advised Annie and McQuaid to bring Belenko in alive. That is if it’s feasible but if it’s not then she’s told them not to risk their own neck for someone like Belenko. Though the information the known terrorist is sitting on might just be worth dying/ being injured for!

Unfortunately, Annie and McQuaid are hiding from the best of the best. The Russians have really gone out of the way to get their hands on Belenko which, if you think about it, is funny because not so long ago he used to be one of them. So for an entire government to change their minds about one man – his information must be worth whatever risk that will come with bringing him in alive.

At least that’s how Annie and McQuaid feel. They know Belenko is going to end up being quite a catch for the American government and above all else they’re patriots. So they’re willing to do whatever they deem necessary to carry out their mission.

But sadly they’re not as equipped as they originally thought they were. It seems all the stress of the situation has pushed Annie into having one of her “episodes”. Episodes being where she passes out after her heart nearly gives out.

Annie was warned she wasn’t fit for active duty and yet she chose to ignore the doctor’s warning and even saw Joan benching her as a betrayal. So for her to have an episode when she needs to be at her fittest – it’s kind of just deserts!

Though it was the wrong place to be taught a lesson.

Luckily, though, Belenko chose to stay with Annie and help her through it. It seems he realized the Americans were going to be easier to handler than the Russians. So at this point, he’s fully committed to be helpful. Anything the Americans wants, they’ll get!

Meanwhile back in the states, Calder is hunting down Belenko’s hired hand. The one that shot his girlfriend and apparently someone else has caught on to him planning a personal vendetta on their time. So he was warned to tread carefully henceforth.

Yet Calder has the right of it. Although he doesn’t need to assemble a task force to find a hit man when that man is already inside of the agency.

Auggie is doing his best to help Annie and McQuaid but he’s being targeted himself. Langer infiltrated the building and he appears to be still carrying out Belenko’s orders even though Belenko himself has changed sides.

Langer tricked Auggie and Decker into entering the same secured location and he was going to poison them if Calder hadn’t acted quickly enough. Calder ended up saving the men’s lives and in the process he killed Langer. So hopefully that will be all he need to avenge Stephanie.

Overseas, Annie and McQuaid were able to bring Belenko in and yet they now have to question themselves about where do they go from here. Annie has been offered a job in Joan’s newest task force and McQuaid is willing to support her no matter what.

Auggie, though it’s important to note, won’t be at the agency anymore. It seems he’s decided to retire early in order to go travel the world with Tash. So from here on out – Annie isn’t going to have him in her ear or being her voice of reason.

Hence, the next step she makes is going to be entirely her own choosing. What do you think? Is Annie staying on at the agency or is she planning on continuing alone?

THE END!
