Auggie eventually forgave Annie. How could he not after she got him and Natasha together again but his new union isn’t that much of a happy one. Natasha came back to the states with a price on her head and now Auggie is living in fear of her getting caught. He and Natasha are just trying to start their life together and already Natasha is risking it by attempting to get her hands on a computer. She wanted to hack into the security cameras around the neighborhood so she could have a chance to leave Auggie’s apartment yet its behavior like that – that got into trouble with the FBI in the first place.

Though he did tell her about Hayley. Auggie figured they didn’t need another thing standing in their way so he confessed that he was afraid to break things off with Hayley in case something went wrong with Natasha. But he went on to say that he changed his mind and that he was going to break it off with Hayley.

He probably shouldn’t have. After all Hayley does have permission to investigate where the agency went wrong in Chicago but according to according to the report Joan received – she’s been looking into more than she should. Like having a file on Stephanie Banks and last Calder checked the “socialite” had nothing to do with Chicago. What is her objective and was it wrong for Auggie to ignore her calls?

Auggie and Annie were back at working together when she was sent overseas to deal with Ivan Kravec again. Although Auggie didn’t like sending her in for this specific case. The last time Annie was with Ivan she drugged him. She swears she covered her tracks however it’s still a risk sending her in again.

And one of things Annie ends up having to deal with is the Russian Embassy. The Russians had made her cover and so visiting the embassy would ruin everything with Ivan. To get her inside of the embassy – Auggie had to crash the security system in order for them to not run her fingerprints. But that was nothing compared to Ivan himself. Ivan remembers a lot from that night and so when he got the chance he drugged her just like she drugged him!

McQuaid had to come to her rescue. Luckily, he was attending the same party at the embassy so he saw her wobbling on her feet. And then inexplicable he lost track of her. He must have because the next time Annie was conscious was in Ivan’s custody. McQuaid later explained that Ivan was waking up so he thought it best to ditch her then and retrieve her afterwards. Even though his retrieval plans involved leaving Annie in the hands of both a mad man and Russian intelligence.

Though McQuaid did come through for her and in the process he was pushed into shooting Ivan. Not fatally so they can still use the banker for information but Annie didn’t like his methods. She doesn’t trust him and the only way to get her to lay off was to admit what his conversation with Boris was about. So he told her. McQauid has a mole in his company and because he handles federal security issues it can’t come out that he’s been compromised.

Now is that going to allow Annie to trust him a little bit more – who knows?

Auggie couldn’t go through breaking it off with Hayley. She had just told him that her firm is looking into Annie’s whereabouts after she purposely lost her handler so Auggie is going to keep dating her to get whatever crumbs of information he can. Hayley is looking into more than Chicago and if she finds out how much everyone has been compromised then it could be the end of everyone’s careers. And that includes Calder. The Stephanie he had assured his co-worker wasn’t anyone important is actually the great prostitute of DC.

He had gone to visit her and told her that if she’s dragged into an investigation to not tell anyone about their relationship. And though he had warned her from telling tales – he hasn’t stopped seeing her. It seems he cares for her too much to walk away and start thinking about himself.

The case Hayley is making needs to be fact checked by the CIA. They have to know they aren’t any gaping holes that’s capable of taking them down so Joan hired McQuaid and his people to look into a few things for them. She doesn’t like the idea of using them and then again she didn’t like gag clause that made Arthur keep secrets from her but she needs the extra hands so she hired them.

May she not regret it!

THE END!
