Since Sonny Corinthos moved pregnant Ava into his home and broke Olivia’s heart, he seems to be dealing with their break-up just fine. Olivia on the other hand is not doing so well, and we all knew it was only a matter of time until she finally cracked. On the July 25th episode Olivia attempted to kick Sonny out of his penthouse at the hotel, and Sonny basically made a mockery of her and informed her it wasn’t helping. She stormed off and climbed into the elevator with Ned Ashton.
ABC has released a hilarious General Hospital spoiler video featuring Ned and Olivia. Apparently they hit it off in the elevator after Olivia and Sonny’s confrontation, and it looks like they went out for a few drinks. Well, Ned had a few, and Olivia is acting like she had a couple dozen drinks. Ned brings Olivia back to his place and lets her crash on the couch. Meanwhile, she is drunk and sobbing about the sad animal shelter commercial on the television. She decides to call the shelter and adopt a puppy. Ned takes the phone from her and informs her she can’t drunk dial animal shelters and she needs to wait until she is sober before she goes around adopting puppies.
We’re not sure why exactly Olivia is crashing on Ned’s couch, but one thing is for sure, the duo definitely has some chemistry. Ned has been on the backburner in Port Charles and hasn’t had any love interests in years, the last serious relationship he had was with Skye Chandler. Although, right now it looks like Ned and Olivia are just friends and getting to know each other, they would definitely make a cute couple in the future, and Olivia needs a man like Ned who will actually treat her right.
