Gerard Depardieu Gay Male Prostitute, Grave Robber: French Actor's New Tell-All Book "It Happened Like That"

Iconic French actor Gerard Depardieu, now 65 years old, rose to fame in the 1990’s and has always been well known for his wild streak and habitual partying. Depardieu is recognized by Americans for his appearance in the 1990’s film Green Card. Now well past his prime, Gerard has released a highly entertaining memoir describing his wild life growing up in the streets of France, and made some shocking confessions.

According to the October 27th edition of GLOBE magazine, “In a stunningly candid memoir, French actor Gerard Depardieu confesses to being a male-prostitute, grave robber, and pick pocket in his youth!” In Depardieu’s book titled, “It Happened Like That,” he described dropping out of school at the mere age of ten and hitting the streets. He began selling his body to men and even brags in his book that he “knew how to please homosexuals.” Gerard reveals in detail how he used to help a man dig up dead bodies and steal their jewelry, and wound up spending time in prison for stealing a car when he was just sixteen.

Considering how wild Gerard Depardieu is now, we’re not exactly shocked by his confessions, just shocked that he actually went public with his crazy life story. Even in his sixties Gerard continues to amaze us with his wild antics, he was cited for drinking while driving a scooter and wrecking it, assaulting the paparazzi, and even urinating in the aisle on an airplane. Then again a lot of his behavior can be chalked up to the 12 bottles of wine that he brags he drinks on a daily basis.

So, what are your favorite Gerard Depardieu films? Will you be picking up his new book any time soon? Can you even imagine drinking 12 bottles of wine a day? Let us know what you think in the comment section below!
