Leaving off from last week, Ralph is now openly complaining about Chef Ramsay. He claims he doesn’t know why the Chef signaled him out seeing as he “didn’t” do anything wrong in the kitchen. And, to be honest, Richard is tired of hearing his mouth. Everyone knows where Ralph went wrong. He took forever to fully cook meat and hearing him deny it is just annoying.

The guys don’t have time to complain about Ralph though. They’re up and running by the next day for their newest challenge!

Due to the arrival of Sorority girls, each team was given a limited amount of time to cook soul food in honor of the ladies anniversary. But the Blue team spent too much time on merely deciding on what they were going to cook before they actually started to do some work.

As for the Red Team, Kashia primarily took over. She’s from the south and soul food is her specialty. So she ordered the ladies around and just to make sure that everything was ready – she tested each dish.

The end result for each team was a mixture of delicious meals. Each team put their southern cooks as leaders and it showed in the quality of the food. And the sorority ladies went on to enjoy all of the dishes they tried and in some cases it even reminded them of their own southern roots. So it was tough call to choose between them.

However the ladies loved the Red Team’s dishes just a little bit more! And the guys can’t help feeling like they were cheated.

Because they lost they then had to stay behind to help the sorority girls set the restaurant up for their party later on which certainly wasn’t easy. The guys had to take confusing directions from the same ladies that denied them a trip to Las Vegas so they were angry. Or in Ralph’s case – just bitchy!

The winning team got to fly to Las Vegas and even enjoyed a meal from Chef Ramsay’s mentor. They also got to meet previous winner, Christine. Christine reassured them that anything is possible and that especially touched Kashia.

Another person to touch Kashia was Ramsay’s mentor as in both literally and frequently. The older man kept flirting with her all night much to amusement of everyone else.

When the ladies returned to Hell’s kitchen with their souvenirs that infuriated the guys. They felt like the Red Team only won because they were women so they’re coming out with a vengeance for tonight’s dinner.

The Blue Team started out strong with everyone pulling their weight while the Red Team kept messing up. When it was not Bev being slow at her station then it was Kashia ruining fried chicken. She’s from the south; why is she sending out raw fried chicken.

Ramsay sent in Jessica to help Kashia and she turned out to be no help at all. Jessica wasn’t checking the meat like she was supposed to and Kashia was too frazzled to get her head into the game.

Kashia was able to turn her station around and she did start sending out fully cooked friend chicken, but Bev started failing at yet another station. This time she didn’t know what the vegetarian meal was. Thankfully, Rochelle was able to step in to help so their dishes were finally able to come out on time.

Over at the Blue Team, Jason started to mess up the fried chicken station. He was sending it out so raw that it was in fact still bleeding when Chef Ramsay cut into it. It wasn’t until after he got help that chicken started arriving cooked.

The Blue Team may had their mistakes, but not as many as the Red Team. So, according to the Chef; they won tonight’s challenge. And it was the Red Team that was forced to put up people for elimination. They chose Bev because she gave someone else her station and it was garnish. Garnish isn’t that difficult to do. As for the second person up for elimination – they went with Jessica.

Jessica let Kashia flounder without ever once stepping up. So she was put up although she feels like Kashia should be there instead of her.

Chef Ramsay chose to send Bev home. He felt that Jessica had a point when she said that Bev fails at every station she’s been put at.
