Back in January when Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie confirmed that they were separated I have to admit, I wondered if they were really done. Usually a confirmation means the couple is barely speaking but these two have been different from the jump. They sat reading supportive Twitter messages from fans together and when they say that they are still best friends it feels like it could be true.
My guess now is that it certainly is true because this estranged couple is currently vacationing together with their son for Valentine’s Day! Couples headed for divorce don’t usually opt to celebrate Valentine’s Day together, let alone choose to travel together for it. This leads me to believe that since making their announcement Hilary and Mike have done some soul searching and had a serious realty check. Once the told the fans they were done then it became real and maybe it didn’t feel so good.

A lot of people were shocked by their split because Hilary seems like one of the few childstars to make it into adulthood in one piece. We want her to be happy.
