Tonight’s episode of How TO Get Away With Murder begins with Rebecca explaining what happened the night that Lila was murdered to Annalise and her team of law students.  Rebecca says that she got high with Griffin and was in his room kissing him when Lila walked in, and then Lila attacked her and started hitting her.  Annalise screams at Rebecca to take the case more seriously or else she will wind up in jail.  Frank barges in and tells them to turn on the TV, a news reporter reveals that a source has come forward and confirms that Rebecca and Griffin had sex the night Lila was murdered – and it was Rebecca who initiated it.  Annalise orders Bonnie to call the judge and get a gag order.  The reporter goes on to speculate that Rebecca manipulated Griffin in to killing Lila.

Annalise heads to court and argues that the prosecution leaked information to the press to slut-shame Rebecca and damage her reputation.  The judge grants a gag order – and orders everyone in the court to no longer speak to the press.  Griffin’s lawyer asks the judge to exhume Lila’s body in lieu of new evidence – he is arguing that someone with long fingernails strangled Lila, so it has to be Rebecca, not his client Griffin.

After court Griffin corners Rebecca and hassles her.  He accuses her of planting Lila’s phone in her car, and then calls her trailer trash.  Annalise heads home and rants to her husband Sam that she knows when they dig up lila’s body they will probably find evidence that Rebecca killed her.  She thinks Rebecca is a monster and she is glad she never had a child like her.

Frank and Bonnie put the law students to work and orders them to critique Keegan’s expert autopsy, and search for other ways to explain the marks on Lila’s neck.  They head back to court and Keegan’s doctor takes the stand and tells the judge there is not a doubt in his mind that the marks on Lila’s neck are from fingernails.  They discredit Keegan’s expert witness and reveal that he was banned another court for providing incorrect testimony.  And, they find another doctor who is willing to testify that the marks on Lila’s neck are insect bites from being in the water tank for several days.

Rebecca and Wes head back to his apartment – and he lectures her that after this is all over she can actually do something with her life and go to college, he doesn’t want her to keep selling drugs.  He apologizes for trying to change her, but Rebecca says she wants him to keep trying.
Michaela heads to an interview for a summer associate position at a prestigious law firm.  When she arrives she learns that they called her in because her fiancé wants her to sign a pre-nup, they’re not interviewing her.

Sam arrives at Annalise’s office, and says that he has some information that might be able to help them convince Lila’s family not to let the court exhume her body.  Sam reveals that her parents don’t trust Griffin and they think that he was brainwashing Griffin and trying to control her.  Laurel and Frank pay Lila’s mom a visit, and convince her that if they exhume Lila’s body Griffin will go free.  Lila’s mom heads to court and takes the stand and begs the judge to let Lila rest in peace and not exhume her body.

After court Rebecca breaks down in tears and runs out, she is upset because Lila’s mom refers to her as a monster.  Rebecca cries to Wes that Lila was actually her friend and storms off.  Meanwhile, Connor corners a guy named Julian after court and they have sex in the bathroom.

Annalise meets up with Nate, and wants to know why the DA Parks turned on her in court and is trying to pin the scratch marks on Rebecca.  Nate tells Annalise that he is on to her tricks and he knows she planted Lila’s phone in Griffin’s car.  He tells her that when everything goes to hell she should remember he tried to give her a way out.

Connor, Asher, and Wes head to a bar to flirt with DA Parks’ assistant to try and get some information from him.  They learn that Keegan and Parks worked out a plea deal for Griffin as long as she supported to have the body exhumed and pin the murder on Rebecca.  Bonnie thinks they should go to the judge and tell her about Keegan and Parks shady deal behind Annalise’s back, but Annalise says there might be another way.

Annalise leaks a story to the press that Griffin raped her, and didn’t have willing sex with him.  They all head back to the court room and Annalise is being sanctioned for breaking the gag order, the judge is tired of all of the drama over the autopsies.  She is going to exhume Lila’s body and have an autopsy done by a doctor of her choice and she will send each lawyer a copy of the report.

After court Wes is furious with Rebecca for lying about Griffin raping her, and he gives her the silent treatment.  She barges in to his apartment and argues with him, they wind up falling in to bed and ripping each other’s clothes off and having sex.  Afterwards they cuddle and Wes rambles about his childhood and reveals that he was born in Haiti, is allergic to peanuts, and was the only black kid at his school.

Meanwhile, Connor is pacing back and forth in front of Oliver’s door and trying to decide whether or not to leave the flowers he got for him.  A man answers Oliver’s door and tells Connor that if he cares about him at all then he will just leave him alone.

Frank corners Laurel and wants to know if she is really quitting the team and going to work at legal aid.  He begs her not to quit because of what happened with them – and swears he will get over it soon.  Laurel confesses she doesn’t want to get over it and starts kissing him.

Rebecca heads to the gas station to get ice cream, and Nate bumps in to her and introduces himself.  He says he knows she didn’t kill Lila – and he wants her help taking down the man they both know did kill her.

Bonnie knocks on Annalise’s door while she is in bed with Sam.  Annalise opens the door and Bonnie reveals she just got news from the autopsy office – and Lila was six weeks pregnant when she died.

THE END!
