Singer and actor James Maslow danced a Salsa, on tonight’s season 18 episode 2 of Dancing with the Stars. The show kicks off with a show-stopping opening number choreographed by Mandy Moore featuring the entire cast followed by an announcement that is not to be missed! On tonight’s show each couple will perform a dance style of the celebrities choosing including Swing, Tango, Jive, Salsa, Samba, Rumba and the Cha Cha. The couples face the first nerve-racking round of elimination. Additionally, “The Switch Up” begins and voting guidelines will be revealed live. For the first time ever, America will be given the power to vote and change celebrity and professional dance pairings.
On last episode James performed a Salsa dance and Bruno loved it saying, “James is on a mission such vigor and attack. I love the fact you put a lot effort in the dance. You have to make it look more effortless, better footwork. Good for a first effort.”

JUDGES COMMENTS: Bruno: “All I can say is more of that please, you have come out of your shell and you have the abs to prove it.” Carrie Ann: “Damn! I am so glad you chose the Salsa. To me there is a sexy hall of fame of all the former dancers, with that dance you just joined that hall of fame.” Len: “No one can accuse you of holding back, you came out and attacked. But it is like driving the car, ease off the gas and you can get more.”
