Jason Derulo used the Jordin Sparks dating relationship for publicity and their breakup was staged to maximize PR – Jason never loved Jordin. For some reason, many media outlets are acting shocked about Jason Derulo’s phone call breakup with Jordin Sparks. Seriously guys, their whole relationship was such a blatant PR publicity stunt, so of course they would end their relationship on an even bigger media stunt. Jason has been milking this breakup for everything he’s worth, giving interviews about it and leaking reports left, right, and center.
See, there are many different versions of what happened. According to Jason, the ‘tension‘ and ‘pressures of marriage‘ was getting to him. According to Jordin’s [alleged] side of the story, Jason cheated on her. But according to other [more reliable] sources, Jason planned the breakup to promote his new album.
A source tells Hollywood Life, “People knew about the breakup a little time before, but he requested them not to release it until it got closer to his album release. So he used it as promotion and was checked out from the relationship well before.”
In other words, Jason Derulo never loved Jordin Sparks, was just using her for publicity, and made sure their breakup coincided with his album release to maximize coverage. Basically, he was incredibly cruel and cold-minded about this whole situation, which makes it even more shocking that Jordin ever agreed to date him in the first place. Was she just blinded by his talent and/or career? Or did she genuinely believe that he loved her? It’s terrible for Jordin who got a phone call breakup because she’s the one who’s staying home and hiding her face, whereas Jason’s out there partying and pounding the pavement.
Poor thing. Jason Derulo is apparently a cheating douchebag, but if we’re playing the odds, that shouldn’t be a shocker. 9 out of 10 people in the music industry suck to the absolute nth degree, and Jason fits that trend very well.
